1.What is the project about?
Cranberries - pure natural environment
Tablets - digital devices and innovative methods
2.Main Objectives

Promoting the use of ICT to increase quality and relevance of education

Addressing underachievement in basic skills
Our aim is to:
-to integrate formal (in classroom) and non-formal (other natural environments) learning
-to promote teachers` and students` communication, language and cooperation skills
-to suppliment curricula in our school systems
-to enhance the intercultural competence of teachers and students
3. Partner`s responsibilities
Rīgas Igauņu pamatskola:

Monitoring and overall coordination

Opening and administrating the project homepage (reports from partners)
It belongs to the responsibilities of a coordinating school to keep the minutes of the project work meetings to save the results, decisions and if necessary then the changes as well.
And the coordinating school is also obliged to finance some common project needs. For example making the mascot of the project, we haven`t got a mascot but we`ll make a project poster.

Opening and creating eTwinning environment for the project. (Students of all partner countries will make their contributions)

Compiling a project product- a multilingual eBook
eBook will include the materials collected during the project activities: pictures, videos, sound recordings and a piece of creative writing in English and in mother tongue.
Istituto Compersivo Della Val Nure:
At the end of each project year students well as teachers are going to fill in a feedback questionnaire: how they liked the activities, what they didn`t like about it, what was useful and so on. There will be different qusetionnaires for students and teachers. At the end of the third year there will be an overall feedback questionnaire on the whole project - 1 for students and 1 for teachers.
Kiukaisten Yhteiskoulu:

Responsible for organising job shadowing activity in their school in January 2018
As the Finnish have been very successful in PISA tests and have a reputation of having one of the best education systems in the world.
The focus of job shadowing will be on:
- the use of tablets (smartphones) with students aged 13 - 16 in basic subjects
- using different apps in different subjects to make studying more effective, individual based and enjoyable;
- how creativity and ICT tools are used in basic subjects.

Compiling interactive Culture Questionnaire
Interactive culture questionnaire- the Polish school is responsible for collecting partners' questions and uploading the questionnaire in eTwinning for students to answer it.
4. Project Activities
The aims of the project activities:
-
To integrate formal (in classroom) and non-formal (other natural environments) learning.
-
To put the topics studied in the classroom into practice in the nature.
-
Our aim is to change learning process more enjoyable and creative also integrating non-formal study methods.
MAIN FOCUSES:
Year 1
The focus of tasks will be on teaching our students how to use digi technology to make videofilms and sound recordings of nature using smartphones or tablets during the field trip. We also focus on teaching our students how to use ready-made apps. We will also plan and organise one field trip with integrating formal and non-formal learning in different subjects (math, science, literacy, art, craft, English, IT) and some pieces of creative writing inspired by nature will be produced.
Year 2
The focus will shift to rehearsing and performing plays based on environment, videoing the plays and having a video conference. We will also plan and organise a Photo Hunt which activities will be connected with ICT.
Year 3
We will focus on one more field trip. This time we will also use smartphones, tablets and ready-made apps to be used in nature. In the 3rd year more attention will be paid to project products. Contributions of new learning resources will be uploaded in Open Educational Resources and a multilingual eBook will be designed, edited and uploaded in free e-books environment. It will also contain sound recordings of nature, videos and photos made during the field trips.

eBook uploaded in free eBooks site-an eBook will be compiled, designed, uploaded and disseminated in partner schools in different European countries.

The product of our project
The project enables to develop the intercultural dimension of multilingualism as the compiled eBook consists of students` pieces of creative writing in their mother tongue and also in English.
It contains:
Creative writing inspired by nature, which can be of different types e.g. stories, poems, descriptions, plays, comics etc. Sound recordings of nature, drawings, photos, videofilms

11. Project Budget
The acquired grant will be used for:
1. carrying out field trips and photo hunts (transportation of students)
2. buying necessary ICT software for implementing project activities
3. financing ICT-based courses (using tablets etc.)
4. financing teamwork training
5. buying materials for art and craft activities (drawing paper, markers, paints, water colours, pencils, etc.)
6. administrative expenses: office paper and other office supplies, telephone, sending letters and parcels (if necessary)
7. toner and ink for copying machines and printers
8. hard disk for saving project materials
9. folders, plastic covers, files, paper board (for project activities)
10. expenses connected with dissemination (posters, leaflets, etc.)
11. expenses connected with final project conferences at schools
12. necessary hand-outs of project meetings
13. expenses connected with creating and administrating project homepage
Decisions:
1. All partner schools start working on the project according to the project plan
2. All partners take seriously their reponsibilities
3. Homepage, eTwinning platform and Facebook account will be opened during October 2016
4. Dissemination of the project is carried throughout the project year
5. All partners make their contributions both for the project homepage and eTwinning
6. The coordinating school is responsible for creating a project poster by the next meeting
7. Communication between the partners is mainly via e-mails
8. All partners help each other if there are problems
9. The partners agreed to meet for the second Project Meeting in Italy from 5thApril-9th April 2017 (including travel days).
